I did have a sheriff drive by while I was in the pit last week. I wasn't actively shooting as he passed (thank you electronic earmuffs), but he had to have heard/known I was in there. He didn't stop this time, but it does make me second guess going back... Personally I'd like to avoid a violation of some sort, and having firearms in the mix just adds a level of paranoia for me.

I discovered that you have posted our company's property in the Oso area as a shooting area. THIS IS COMPLETELY AGAINST OUR POLICY. Green Crow Corporation has owned the property shown on your map since 1989 and we have NEVER ALLOWED TARGET SHOOTING on the property. We have a no trespassing letter filed with the Snohomish County Sheriffs Office which allows us to have violators arrested at any time for trespassing. Our watchman has to constantly stop people from shooting here and your people continuously tear down our signs and protest being told to leave. All of the neighbors in the surrounding area complain vigorously to us about the constant noise on the weekends and our company has had to spend a great deal of money picking up broken glass, shell casings, targets, metal, etc. YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM OUR ATTORNEY ABOUT GETTING THIS MAP OFF OF YOUR SITE IMMEDIATELY

I find it incredible that our company needs to "verify" that we own property that other people are trespassing upon. Ok jerk, look it up on the county assessors records yourself. Our company is the LEGAL OWNER, TAX PAYING, ETC. FEE SIMPLE OWNER ON THE FOLLOWING PARCELS DENOTED ON YOUR F#*king little map as the Honey Hole 1 and Honey Hole 2. There are also no open public lands in this area managed by the either the county, state, or federal. Our fee ownership along the Lake Cavenaugh road is as follows:

If you can read a real map you will discover that we own almost all of the property along the road for almost 2.0 miles. Then after a person leaves our property you are on Department of Natural Resources land that is off limits to shooting and trespassing as well.

I will be contacting as many other commercial forest land owners, the sheriffs office, and state agencies that manage forest land about your reckless rouge website that provides irresponsible information to the general public.

I never asked you to prove you owned the property, but merely verify which location on our map was the one you owned, so we could remove it from the map. I am not going to stoop to your level of immaturity when it comes to communications but I will tell you this, and I hope you can listen and comprehend on a legal level. Threatening to slander or libel us will, as shown in your writing below, will not exactly bode well in your defense.

As I explained in my previous email, the locations listed are populated via the internet and word of mouth. Your anger directed at us for having that information on our map is about is about as childish as threatening to sue Google for locating a McDonalds that has since gone out of business.

On a personal note, I am concerned about your apparent anger issue when it comes to attempting professional and legal communications on behalf of the company you are employed with. On the level of honest communication, I have CC’d some managers and the President of your company in hopes that the threats to cause our online community harm will cease and desist. An apology would be nice, yet not expected.

I will remove the two shooting locations, as asked, this afternoon.
