Least through an FFL. I thought it could sometimes be resolved by a call to their "unfairly denied?" number or several weeks (online appeal) if they had to do more research? Here's a story that was solved in weeks and related to a state issue. FBI got back to him in 2 wks. And he was able to resolve the state issue with a call and an email. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_6/149622 ... _____.htmlcorrect.. the FFL has the ability to call NICS and verify why something was denied if they have reason to believe the denial was in error.. such as a recent proceed, or a proceed elsewhere during the same time frame... but with SAA there is no incentive to do so, since they already have your 100$... it actually sounds like it's their fault to begin with and they won't lift a finger to fix it.. Not unless it changed again in the last couple months. They will tell you to have the customer fill out the appeal form and send it in, or do it online. I usually suggested that people mail it in with a set of fingerprint cards to help eliminate the chance of misidentification. A dealer can't even call in to check on the status of a delay anymore. That's in the recorded message at the beginning of the phone tree. The purple is an edit I had to add because I screwed up my original post. I like making myself look like a dumbass sometimes.

Sent from my UAV using Disposition Matrix 2.0 Good luck with those . This was nothing to do with this thread but a buddy bought 1000 rounds of 9mm reloads from them and it was jamming our guns like crazy. We even had to beat 2 rounds out with a cleaning rod. We were shooting Glock 34 and 17s a XD and a M&P jammed all of them . I hope your batch is better

You guys crack me up. I'm sure there is an explanation of the 28.5% somewhere in these 15 pages, but I'm not going to spend all night looking for it...
