We seem to keep buying the shit ones.
I'd like to get a good keeper, if I could find one.
Need suggestions.

If you had bought quality in the first place instead of cheap shit you would be Money ahead Rick.

In my defense, I didn't know the difference.
Also, just because something costs more doesn't mean it's better quality. :wink05:

Do you have a gas stove or electric?

Flat bottom woks allow contact with electric stove burners without using the ring.

Otherwise yosukata is well reviewed

Gas. That's why I mentioned getting the "ring".

I bought the Craft Wok from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PU ... UTF8&psc=1

and one of these burners.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PX ... UTF8&psc=1

I can get the wok hei and flip to my hearts delight. My next wok purchase though will be a powerflamer 160 for even more heat. I always cook outside with it though, too much smoke for my kitchen vent hood.

You need a minimum, in most opinion, of 80k BTU to use a wok like a Chinese chef
Stuff has to be HOT for best results
Your homeowner range will be lacking
I use my turkey fryer/ crab boiler to use mine

Aerosmith seemed pretty in touch with Asian culture, even partnering up with Run DMC to sing 'Wok this way'...
