Through tomorrow, Costco is giving $8 off each boneless pork loin. No limit, but also no rain checks, so finding them in stock might be a challenge.
I bought three of them at opening this morning at the Southcenter Costco. Original price is $1.99/lb, and each weighs 8-ish pounds, so that means that your final price is ~$1/lb, depending on the size of the loin that you buy.
I've got pork chops in my future, and maaaybe some Canadian bacon too.

Your little fatties always looked amazing. Your burnt ends are probably the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Any thing you’d be willing to pass on I’d appreciate. Your bbq is legendary!

Incase anyone is interested.... I noticed yesterday that my Safeway now has a big island of 'nuts' in the produce section..... I was looking at it and was seeing some pretty good deals - I didn't have my reading glasses to see for sure, but it looked like 10+oz bags of almonds, sliced almonds, pecan pieces, walnuts (bigger bag) ---- for $2 a bag (unadvertised sale). Seems to me that thats a pretty damn good price for nuts.... I'm thinking I've got some brownie mixes that could really benefit from them..... (dammit - I've been trying to avoid them) - or plan for something.

I should have posted this up a couple of days ago when I first saw it.... Safeway had an unadvertised sale on signature select nuts - 1# walnut halves&pieces, 10oz sliced almonds, 10oz pecan pieces for $2 each --- I thought it was a pretty good deal when I first saw it, but I didn't realize how good until I saw the prices in other stores (I don't buy a lot of cooking nuts). They were on a island in the produce section mixed in with all the 'good/flavored' nut brands. I waited too long and all they had left today were walnuts and sliced almonds.... and not many of them left..... There should be at least one more day for the sale.

If the same payment method is used for the same transactions right after another it will flag in their system.

^ TW, tell me more … how do you know this?
I’ve played that game before, using the same credit card, and haven’t had an issue.

I’ve played that game before, using the same credit card, and haven’t had an issue. I read their fine print. :D The system is literally designed to track purchases and payment methods, it's pretty much its only purpose. So, when you buy ABC on card A and 10 seconds later the same things on Card B, with same form of payment, only so many times you can do that before it gets flagged as duplicate. If you're profitable for them, they'll probably ignore it. But once you start costing them money, it'll be an issue. When Safeway first started delivery, they were offering something like $20 off a $100 delivery order + free delivery for your first order. I made 3 orders before they flagged my card for the 4th and had cancelled the 2 most recent accounts.
