Hi Everyone,
My name is Brice. I'm located in Snohomish County and mostly train out of Custer Sportsmen's Club up in Whatcom County.
One of my good friends raves about WA Guns so I figured it was time to finally get involved. I'm happy to be here and looking forward to learning from you all and contributing where I can.
I also run firearms classes on some weekends with Intrepid Tactics and shoot competition on occasion.

Nice to finally see you here, Brice! I can vouch for Brice, he's a stand-up guy. He also knows his way around firearms, so if you're looking for instruction, give Intrepid Tactics a call! NWGunner wrote: Do you have a website for your classes? https://intrepidtactics.com/

NWGunner wrote: Do you have a website for your classes? https://intrepidtactics.com/Thanks Curtis, happy to be here! Yes, IntrepidTactics.com is the company website. We run a pistol series and a rifle series, all using modern pistols/carbines/rifles but themed around historic American gunfights. Each class ends with a competition between the students in the style of a single stage. its a culminating exercise where the best score walks away as the honor grad and we usually have something like a knife or an axe as a reward. The Wild Bill one is fun. Wild Bill shot Davis Tutt in a shootout at 75 yards, so we have a range test built into the course. Some days we have the 100 yard range, others just the 50, and see how far out students can ring a 1/2 IPSC steel silhouette, most make 100. ViniVidivici wrote: Welcome Brice!
What's your best time on the F.A.S.T.? I can't say I've timed myself on F.A.S.T. recently, I'll give it a go next time I'm at the range (hopefully Monday) and let you know.

Wierd, I didn't know anybody ever shot the F.A.S.T. untimed...the S stands for speed.
I suck at it. Best run ever is 6.61 clean. Yesterday, working out of a new 6280, got a 8.13 clean. I'm usually in the 7-8 second range.
I don't know for the life of me how Dave Sevigny ever managed a 3.56. He's a robot.
As I'm sure you know, it's just a yardstick, like Bill Drill, 3M Test, Hackathorn's Wizard Drill, etc. Somethin' to tell you where you're at if you haven't shot in a while, what you need to work on, and how new equipment performs.
