Congrats, deadshot2! Clearly your screen name accurately portrays your skills with a gun. Josh, I think it's AWESOME that you set this up and ran the competition. I'm sorry that it didn't take off as hoped . . . I'm not really sure why, but I guess it doesn't really matter. The point is, you put some effort into something that was fun for the group, and that was really cool of you.

Congrats!
I think this would be a fun thing to do at a group shoot. Bring a prize and best shooting wins.

I added the "2" to my screen name because I know that there are a lot of people out there that are better shots than I. For a future Postal Shoot I'd like to offer this suggestion. A Poker Shoot. Suggested target: Pistols at 7 yards. Rifles at 100 yards. 10 rounds and for a tie breaker on the top hands, only "Clean" hits on the card count. Break an edge and the shot doesn't count. No "ties" then any "hit" counts. Who knows, one who closes their eyes and runs off 10 rounds could even end up with a good hand. If this is a selected target/game, I will voluntarily disqualify myself. I'd love to be a spectator.

This looks like fun. I completely skipped this thread thinking it was a pistol or carbine thing, but I would jump in on the next one...

I wonder if there is a way to do the poker shoot, but use the cards that had all the terrorist faces on them? Might add a bit of extra enjoyment to it?
