I didn't see one there! Mossberg had a very small display and were pushing the Duck Commander and Flex line shotties. I didn't do a thorough walk-thru though.

Sportco in Fife has one for $5XX. Took a pic of the price tag, but must not have saved it.

So I got a chance to stop in at Mossburg, and spoke to them about the MVP. The only one they had on the floor had a laminate thumb hole stock, 18" barrel with a 1:10 twist. It also is SR25/DPMS patterned so it will accept the Magpul 308 magazines, with out any modification... They were giving the MSRP as $649, but I am sure you will find it below $600 at retailers.

All in all it was a nice little rifle, good to handle and very quick to maneuver. The balance on it was phenomenal with that laminate stock, but the stock added to the weight a bit too. They made no accuracy claims that I could pry out of them, but I am guessing that it will probably go ~1MOA. With some work you can probably bring that down with some work, and load development. Cool little rifle, and I am sure it would make an awesome deer rifle.

They are shipping to distributors. I spoke to RSR, who had begun receiving them to send out to shops. So you will start seeing them soon as someone already said, SPORTCO had one on the shelf.

I used my contacts and emailed Mossberg for you to get a press kit on the new 307 MVP. I will let you know and post the info when I get something back.

Here is the press releases for the .30cal MVP series rifles... Both in .308Win and .300BLK.

Varmint and Predator models are due out later in 2014.

Hope this is what you were looking for. I would have attached the PDF press releases to here, but I guess they don't want files over 500kb posted... So I am forced to put them on Scribd. Let me know if that is a problem, and I can email them directly to you if you want.

Did you get a chance to look at Springfield's new XDS 4.0, if so what where your thoughts? I'm also interested in hearing anything about Remington's new 9mm single stack handgun too, although I must say Remington's not my fav.

Thanks,

Full discussion of the Remington Single Stack is here: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=33823

The XDs 4.0, is just an XDs with a slightly longer barrel. I looked at it briefly and it looked and felt like the normal XDs.
