If I'm reading this correctly, one can download this to their 3D printer? Anyone have a printer that might care to make/sell/share these? Have you seen similar gizmos? Just keeps your bic lighters from emptying out in your backpack. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18870 ... rint/#apps |

Okay... I got a handful of lighters from the stoner's house that I had to clean up this week. I guess there are three sizes of Bics. and I can see the wiretie working on these (pictured above) as there is a distinct recess under the thumb-pad.... but these funky psychodelic painted bics I got are a wierd lot. There isn't a huge space under the thumb-pad for the wire tie to slip into. There is a small recess and I've put a wire tie around as described. I'll see how it works. I'm guessing it will slip off over time. If it does, I guess I'll get some of the more regular Bics. I have striker, and magnesium block, pitch-knot, and a few other methods for fire, but it is just so easy to strike a bic and get the camp stove lit (and these were free) Thanks for the pointer. Still open to more ideas. |

I've contemplated a zippo but was afeared of fuel leakage. I wonder if that's a thing with that case on it. |
