What are the benefits?
What is the task of gathering local intelligence for your AO?
You probably have your first layer solutions well in hand i.e. sustainment:
Some food preps
Water purification and storage
IFAK
BOB
Comms and etc. Stuff to keep you alive until tomorrow. But what about long term? What are your second layer solutions? e.g. parallel production and procurement of day to day items. Parallel economic factors of trade and production.
Political and social (network and local security) agency.
