He's referring to Surplus Ammo & Arms, as the post is in that forum section.

With an arrogant owner. Or whoever I met that was the current owner at the time like a decade ago or so, I didn't go back.

Although, this is exactly what they wanted... make business so difficult it isn't worth it, thus cutting off easy access.

Like a lot of us, I have at least one of their lowers.

But yeah, the general attitude of the shop sucked. They seemed to get lots of pretty crappy milsurp rifles and beater used guns and price them like gold. Then I'd head up to Pinto's and get actual realistic prices for those...or much better quality stuff.

I'm not thrilled with the circumstances, but if it means that bad shops go away, so be it. We all saw the same circa 2012 when shops couldn't get ammo, mags, or MSRs to save their lives. So many crappy shops with overpriced guns went away.

Just got some junk email from Surplus Ammo. They've changed their name to MontanaAR15.com

I usually don’t get along with most people. But I really liked TJ. There were some decent people that worked there.

A lot of shops price gouged, but for anyone celebrating a gun shop in Washington being shut down, you need to rethink your position on that.

No wonders no one can come together and do anything to get rid of these pedophile politicians creating all these unjust laws against us.

All this does is show me that none of us can get along. It sickens me to think that you guys celebrate a gunshop being closed.

Why are you even in the community? Do you even support the second amendment?

Fucking pathetic!

How will anyone feel when there are no shops left? None, zero, because that’s the plan. You will wish you could get something for 10% more than traveling across state lines.

No one should be happy about a gun shop closing. No one.

Even if that gun shop is working to take away your rights? Serious question. If a gun shop actively works to restrict our rights, should we still support that store? Follow up. If a gun store actively prices products to take advantage of gun owners, should we still support that store?

Nobody asked me, but I'll give my two cents.

I feel like Low Price Guns was actively working against our rights. I'm happy to see them gone.

As for other gun stores, even if they jacked up prices or otherwise didn't treat customers well, I think it's a huge loss for us when they close up shop, and I'm with Gasitman on that. I say this as a Washington resident, where gun owners and gun stores are an endangered species; the more we have of each, the better off we are even if we don't agree with or like all of them.

Maybe my attitude would be different if I lived in a free state.

Honestly I’ve never shopped there. And I don’t know about them. I did however spend lots of money at surplus. And yes, they took advantage when the mag craze was going, but so did many places. Most of the employees would go out of the way to acknowledge you. No one can not say when they left that TJ said the same thing as you left, be safe out there. And always welcomed you in.

But we cannot celebrate a gun shop closing. None of them, choose where you spend your money. But don’t celebrate when a shop closes, people lose their jobs, etc. That’s why I try and spread my money around, got some suppressors from Dana, got a few guns going to Brads, Buy ammo from bullseye, Sportco or the marksmen.

I may not like some of the people that work there, or disagree with their opinions on certain guns, but at the same time I’m very thankful the store is open.

People trash Moe but he put his money where his mouth was and said FUCK YOU INSLEE. Sold mags despite. And yet people bash him? He has more balls than most. And literally cost him his livelihood. How many of you have stood up like that?
