I picked us 9 pounds of N140 rifle powder and it says it's a A true multipurpose powder, which can usually be used in place of IMR4320, Reloder 15 or Hodgdon H380. Good choice also for .223 Remington, .22-250 Remington, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, 8x57 IS (8 mm Mauser) and .375 H&H Magnum.
Has anyone actually used this in the 223 with 55 grain bullets? And if so how did it shoot for you. Thanks Tom

I have run n140 and the more energy dense variant n540 with 55gr bullets, both the flat base hornady SP and the boat tail nosler ballistic tips out of 11.5" & 16" ARs and a 24" CZ bolt action - very accurate and balanced for the performance. Nice score securing 9lbs! load on up!
