On my reloading bench with the presses I have it lag bolted to the garage wall studs to minimize bench movement and vibration while loading. Do you have your indoor reloading area bench similarly bolted or is this a non-issue for you?

Another thing is I've drilled my reloading bench worktop and directly mounted my presses to it. Moving forward think I'll mount the presses to plywood then clamp the plywood to the bench surface so I can switch presses on an off without a proliferating pattern of holes weakening the bench top which is laminated butcher block.

This is an old heavy L shaped office desk. I do not have the measurements but I want to say 1.5" thick? Plus the frame for the drawer just to the left make for a very stiff deck. I drilled thru and use bolt, nut and washers thru the desktop so it is not threads holding in wood. It has proved to be very solid. and if I need to I can take the press down in short order and put it in the closet. Though I have not done that since upgrading to the case feeder. LOVE that case feeder, and added bullet feeders for 9mm and 45acp in the last few months... :handload: :handload: :handload:

In terms of being able to move/swap presses, Inline makes some quick mount type plates that will probably do what you are thinking about and they would be lot stiffer than plywood...

After the 4th paint job and 36 years in existence, plus a few modifications:

Components loaded, lights on:

And, the lower shelves (ammo):

Of course, like all things related to shooting, it has grown significantly, there is no room on lower shelf and the upper is very crowded.

Very nice.
One day, after I retire in 31 months, I plan to clean mine up and expand. I don't have any excuses not too, my detached 1008 square foot garage has plenty of space!

Wow 1008 square feet  That's huge. I suspect it's bigger than my first college apartment.

It is certainly bigger than my wife and I first apartment after we got married! We had 820 sq foot apartment. :)

Mine shares the garage with my Camaro and Goldwing... Nothing fancy but gets the job done.
Besides the quick change that is on it I have 4 additional calibers setup on stands ready to swap out.

LOL!

Yeah, so it is normal to get an erection while staring at a Camaro like that?

Wow! :inlove:

Here's my humble but effective bench. The cabinet holds my bullets and reloading manuals. I have a separate large cabinet that holds powder/primers. Works for me.

Nice bench!

But the real magic is those tidy-cats bins for brass in the garage. I always do the last litter change so I can pirate the container for better uses
