I have custom cabinets in the garage, and, my workbench has to do multiple duty. I have always wanted something better/faster than using C-clamps so I finally decided to replace the bench top and add some t-track.
My XL650 is on a welded pedestal, but I have multiple single stage, turret presses, trimmers and a SDB that I put on the main bench when I need them.
It turned out pretty well and was a lot easier to rout the t-track in than I thought. Including the new top and t-track, I invested $60. Of course, I then needed (!) a new Inline Fabrication quick mount to complete the setup. I have the presses hanging on the wall for easy changes.
It was definitely worth the time. I would like to have gone the other way with the track, but, that presented different problems. This works out.
