Hello< yes I am new and blindly moving forward.
Looking for data on NS 688 primers, for high-power fast burning powder. All I know is the 684 are low power for progressive powder, and 686 medium power for medium powder .Some say
the 688's are on par with Winchester 209's. Alliant powder refers a load data between 6500 to 8500 psi then primer swap is within pressure tolerances. One could assume they are
meaning good to go for all three numbers. Not really in my comfort area. any knowledge to share would be appreciated.

6500- 8500 those are some real low pressure loads. I am using 8500 psi loads in a Marlin Model 19 2 1/2 inch 12 gauge. I can't help you with that primer as I use 209s.
