When reloading SPEER "once fired" brass casings does anyone else find them to be a pain to slide into the shell holder?

Negative. Have loaded Speer brass in 9x19mm, .40, .45ACP, off the top of my head. Never noticed an issue. RCBS shellholders and dies here.
ETA: well let's try to figure out the problem, what are the specifics of what you're using?

ETA: well let's try to figure out the problem, what are the specifics of what you're using? I don't have any issues using it on my turret press, only on the progressive plate. Dunno.

I haven't noticed an issue with Speer in particular. I definitely have issues with some pieces of brass; if there's a ding on the rim, it can make it hard or impossible to get it into the shellplate. If it takes me more than about two seconds to get it in, I'll just recycle the piece of brass and move on.
