Anybody have the Lyman shotshell 5th?

I'm curious how extensive the load data is. Particularly 410 3" and 10ga tables.

I'm having a hard time with the research online for what books contain what. I have a decent collection of 60s and 70s books but there's been a lot of new powders since then.

Before I pull the trigger on the Lyman book I was hoping for some opinions.

If there are better modern shotshell books out there please advise.

Thanks!

I have a copy of Lyman's 5th. (and 2nd, FWIW) It shows a few pages of 10 GA loads with current powders, etc in both lead and steel . Same with 410 3" but for lead shot only.

That said, all my shotgun loads are clay target use and I get most of my recipes from the powder companies' websites. I have zero experience with hunting loads.
If you have specific load questions , contact me and I can relate the Lymans info.

Thank you Brian and Frank, sounds like the book will surely be a useful resource. I'm just gonna go ahead and buy the Lyman 5th.

Any other very thorough shotshell books I should get? Not too interested in the how-to or safety stuff, just the depth of the recipe sections.

Jason
