PMB was asking recently for pics of the reloading bench. Rather than post heaps of pics up in the excellent thread by SportsDad thought I would start a separate one.

There's two benches in the garage. The one in these pics is for the reloading presses:
- Bonanza Co-Ax
- Hornady LnL AP progressive press

Recently installed some Inline Fabrication wall mount system behind the bench to rack reloading dies, extra powder measures, shell holders, primer tubes, and cleaning rods.

Here's my second bench that I use for case prep and secondary tasks like gun cleaning, ski waxing, etc:

Ha :ROFLMAO:

Yeah the Wilton is pretty sweet. Picked it up several years ago off eBay already refurbished and has been great. it's quite possible that at the time the vise was manufactured that B-29 bombers, Sherman tanks, liberty ships, and naval vessels of all stripes and colors were also being cranked out at the same time by American industry.

Nothing like an old American made vise from quality steel. At the time I was trolling eBay for different vintage American presses and was pretty interesting to see what's out there. The prices on new and used Wiltons go up pretty steeply at 4" vises and up plus the shipping gets pretty spendy due to the weight. The 3.5" vise has been a great all around size for my purposes in the garage.

In the next couple years as alimony tapers off looking forward to picking up some new firearms and expanding the reloading capabilities along with it. Would be nice to gradually pick up some 45LC single action pistols plus a couple rifles, maybe a Marlin 336 in 35 Rem and a Tikka T3 left hand in 7mm-08 for hog hunting. I've also been thinking about trying my hand at centerfire rifle silhouette matches, maybe something in 260 or 6.5mm for that. We'll see.

Very nice.
One day, after I retire in 31 months, I plan to clean mine up and expand. I don't have any excuses not too, my detached 1008 square foot garage has plenty of space!

Small footprint for mine. Recently upgraded with inline fab items. Bought ultramount few months back. Tried an ergo handle and didn't like it, just bought std height roller handle, three 16"inline rails plus bin barriers. Inline stuff not cheap, but solid stuff.

Cranking out some 223 plinking rounds tonight.

Some of mine. This summer the reloading room is getting a big remodel now that I have learned a few things.

Wow you guys are making the most out of small spaces. Very nice and gives me a new appreciation for having two full benches in the garage. One thing I'm pretty envious of is that indoor reloading space can be climate controlled. Here in Central Texas the garage approaches the surface temperature of Venus in the summer  Need to buy a big cooling fan for the garage to get some airflow in there.

OG can you give us a bit of info on what type of reloading presses you have on the bench. There's some I don't recognize there.

Hopefully other folks keep posting up and we get to see more reloading setups as well.

Wow 1008 square feet  That's huge. I suspect it's bigger than my first college apartment.

Yeah when I started I was outside in my detached garage. While we do not get super hot or cold out here, trying to reload in the winter was a pita, even 50* after a while you get really cold. The condensation had my 1st press rusting in a matter of months. Moved inside to my desk (just to right in picture is PC) and been off and running ever since.
What is not seen is the closet full of reloading supplies. There at the desk I only keep the press parts. Dies&shell plates[wall behind press], Primer tubes, relaoding book, digital scale and a base amount of components for each caliber[under desk in plastic drawer on right]. Behind and on left is a short book case with range bags, boxes of completed rounds and empty boxes begging to be filled.

Thanks lamrith... When I lived in Lacey we had an electric 20amp garage heater installed which made reloading in the winter months a dream... Here the garage temps can reach over 110 degrees in the summer yuck. Will most likely reload in the morning hours when it cools off to 85 lol. Definitely miss the Northwest summer weather.

Eventually we're going to move to either ID, MT, WY, or UT for end of career and/or retirement so at that time would certainly want to move reloading indoors so could continue to load in the winter months.

On my reloading bench with the presses I have it lag bolted to the garage wall studs to minimize bench movement and vibration while loading. Do you have your indoor reloading area bench similarly bolted or is this a non-issue for you?

Another thing is I've drilled my reloading bench worktop and directly mounted my presses to it. Moving forward think I'll mount the presses to plywood then clamp the plywood to the bench surface so I can switch presses on an off without a proliferating pattern of holes weakening the bench top which is laminated butcher block.

I have a few RCBS presses that are just set each for individual tasks. One for decapping and one for priming/pulling.

Then I have a LNL progressive for pistol ammo.

My favorite one is the old (1936) Hollywood Gun Shop turret for multiple calibers.

My bench is just 2x4 covered in plywood and bolted to the wall with its own legs on my cement shop slab. The area where the presses are bolted down is a nice thick slab of very hard Black Locust.
