Looks like the "sun is finally rising' on the powder shortage. I actually was able to order a case of IMR-4064 yesterday and instead of getting just 10-1# bottles I got 2 8# jugs. Back to buying powder for less than $20/lb, delivered. Eat your heart out Cabela's. Life is getting better.

That's good news. Let's hope it continues to improve!

For some powders, it's been over for some time. IMR 4064 has been available for quite some time. Powder valley has it (they are out of 8lbers right now though) for 158/8lb jug. They do have 1lb for $22, and the limit is usually 48 pounds. edit: unfortunately, some powders are still not available, like AA 2520. haven't seen any anywhere in 2 years. Pistol powder has been available but you have to watch closely. it will come in bunches too, like a lot of vihtavouri types, and then none for six months.

I have been picking up a couple of pounds every once in a while from Cabelas but paying almost $10 more per pound sucks. Glad to see more becoming available from the more economical sources. As for Accurate, Alliant, and Vihtavouri Powders, they seem to have disappeared from the earth or are only sold to people that know the secret handshake
