Just snagged this work station. Spent all day wiring it up. Think it will make a decent reloading table? I've had a shit-ton of bad luck lately so won't be buying any equipment anytime soon. I'll just stay in this "research stage" until then...LOL.

Pretty cool. That'll make a nice reloading bench, for sure.

Solid framework. If the bench top is fiberboard, you may want to look into getting some 1.25" sturdyfloor plywood. OSB, fiberboard, and the like will not stand the test of time. Our commercial loading benches are 24 years old, and still rock solid.

Dog...interesting. Guess I can see that especially with screwing into it. I'll use it then upgrade later when needed.
Pretty much my beer drinkin table now...like to look out the garage and see what's going on down the street...LOL

Pretty much my beer drinkin table now...like to look out the garage and see what's going on down the street...LOL Use bolts that go through and are secured by washers and nuts on the other side for presses. Lag bolts and screws will pull out over time. Pressboard will flex at the edge of the bench. For case trimmers and such screw to the table top. Not a lot of stress. You can also double up 3/4" plywood. I top mine with formica. Great beer drinking table! I need one.

MFTIC wrote: Its like a rock. Overhead lights, just need to buy some since 2 are burnt out Replace them with LED tubes. Regular fluorescent lamps don't play well with digital scales and sooner or later you'll probably have one if you don't already. Also, you may want to anchor the bench to the wall. Benches like this tend to flex a lot when using a reloading press. As for the bench overall, they're great for just about anything with the lighting and power outlets.
