I have only hadthis product in the taco soup and it was great, good texture and size crumbles. Bryon made a huge batch at the overland rally and all the people who tried it could not believe all the ingredients were freeze dried.

I put a can of enchilada sauce (14-15 oz) in a pot, add just under a cup of the ground beef, simmer for 10 minutes, spoon it into 4 flour tortilla shells with some shredded cojack cheese, roll up the shells and cover them with another heap of cheese, and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. It isn't a fancy dinner, but it's super quick and it gets maximum thumbs up from the hubs (red meat usually doesn't agree with me so I don't eat it -- it does smell really good, though).

Freeze dried, big difference. No additives, gluton free, GMO free, and most of the fat gone. So FD is better for you.

Well when your generator is out of fuel and the freezer stuff is all gone, without having a decent larder of freeze dried food will make you a hungry pooch. Sure you can hunt, you and a bunch of others.

Don't kid yourself, that sure as shit ain't free. I know mine isn't. And unless you have the money to travel and hunt out of state or like to poach, most would have a hard time feeding a family year round on elk/venison. Mine usually lasts til about July.

Last call for the beef. Ordering tonight.
