For the money, this lower receiver is by far the best. Sub $100 billet, captured springs and detents, no pins. Well made. There has been a lot of interest in getting another group buy organized for these lowers from Joe Bob outfitters. I am placing an order for 50. Price out the door with tax/shipping, etc will be $103.17.

Pick-up will be in Maple Valley. Payment is due up front and reflects a 3% cash / paypal gift discount. Credit card accepted too + 3%.

Please post a comment with quantity committing to. Payment due by November 2nd.

Is it possible to buy as a set? With the matching upper? Do you have a link to your paypal?

Why pay tax on an upper?

I bought three of these in the last group buy, and I've been very happy with them. I especially like the set screws that they use for the bolt catch and the rear detent; this eliminates one of the worst roll pins to tap it (bolt catch), and it prevents the rear detent spring from flying across the room when you remove your buffer tube while not really paying attention . . . .

Jody, I'm in for three more. Thanks for doing this!

This will be my first build assembling all the parts instead of just buying the completed parts (upper/lower). I've read that the mag catch may have to be modified a little and a coil cut from the spring? Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

I haven't had to do this.

The only part that you should have to modify is the spring for the rear takedown pin. That spring enters from the rear of the receiver; these particular Molon Labe receivers have a set screw that holds in the spring, so that set screw occupies some of the space that is normally occupied by only the spring.

You'll have to just snip a little off the spring to make it all fit. Don't sweat it, you'll figure it out once you have it in your hands and are doing it.

Thanks for the info! I have the parts list, just waiting for deals on the parts. I'll post it once I finish.

I happy to help you build it in my shop. The issue reported is because tumbling media gets stuck in there prior to anodizing finish. It is easy to clean out or you can cut the spring, either way.
