I thought I'd make a new topic since the prices have raised and I wasn't part of the original buy. I will be contacting some FFL's to see if any of them would be interested in this. I'm looking at purchasing direct through manufacturer or having an FFL purchase them (better discounts, no transfer fee) if we could work something out depending on amount of lowers purchased. The lowers are $109.95 (buying 3+, original price is $129.95) and the uppers are $89.95 (buying 3+, original price is $99.95). You will have some time to decide since I still have to find a willing FFL. Also, the uppers are currently out of stock, but have been told they will be in stock in about 2 weeks.

Since I am now an FFL, I will get another GB going. I am in talk with JBO.

For those that don't know, Jody organized the last group buy, prior to becoming an FFL.

I would like the lower/upper combo. Any chance we can make that an option?

Awesome, Thanks!

A little of topic, but it seems like we may have another Dem as President and there are calls for more guns laws. Would people be interested in looking at group buys for ammo, mags, and lowers? Since those items look to be affected the most if any new laws are passed.

I think people are always interested in group buys . . . *if* you can get significantly better pricing than we can get as individuals. That's the tough part.

Group buys aren't worth the hassle, IMO, unless you're saving some serious coin.

I agree.

It's sounds great on paper... but typically the manufacturer or seller wants one check (all up front). They don't care who hasn't paid or is going to pay...

From their view. Buy in BULK with one check is simple easy. How it's dispersed is on the organizer/FFL in this case for firearms (lower). It is a lot of hassle but if one is willing and finds the right FFL for the RIGHT price... but that's a tough one because - I hate to say it... it's a business for them (so they have to make some money) and that drives prices up as more folks gets involved.

But a good way to show folks what their deal is... is to put up the cost "difference" aka savings if they order "X" many.

And, Please try to put all the cost into it (tax, FFL fee if any, etc) that you know of. I hate last minute surprises and "oh by the way..."

Ok, thanks for the information. I'm new to this so I will be learning as I go. I edited the post to show what the non-bulk pricing is.

Jody picked up extra lowers. While they may be a little more in price, its still a good deal.

Has this buy ever been made a real thing, If it is I would like to gut in and get one or two depending on price.

Send Rehv Arms (Jody) a PM; he did the group buy, and he may have some left over.
