Hey guys, any interest in a group on the new Forward Controls stuff? I know the owner and can most likely make this happen. Thoughts? http://forwardcontrolsdesign.com/

I love that there are more and more people willing to take the risk of opening up a new business, especially in the firearms market.
With that said, I think a lot of guys don't think things thru very well, and they do what they think is cool, instead of what will be a good business decision.
Having a forward assist assembly that retails for more than a Anderson lower is not conducive to good sales. Neat product, but I wouldn't expect a lot of sales.
Best of luck to him.

Some people can't live without forged parts and routinely replace the "MIM" internals in their 1911s at a high cost for no reason. This stuff will sell well to that crowd.

I'm interested in a forged bolt release. Need something stronger for the AR9.
