I have a lead on a 1,000-rd case of Federal HST 9mm +P 124gr JHP (50-rd boxes) for $0.49/rd delivered. Anyone interested in a group buy on this?

If someone would deliver to tacoma area i'd take a box or two.

I've been thinking of getting a 9mm again, I guess I better buy a gun before I do the ammo even though I bought 2500 rds of .22 b4 I bought a .22 pistol cause I saw the shortage coming. How long are you going to run this before you order?

I just need a couple more people to commit before I order. I just left a voicemail for my supplier to make sure he still has it...will update as soon as I hear back.

If it makes a difference I'll take 6 boxes at the .49c per round price.

He did offer an alternative, though: 1,000-rd case of Speer Gold Dot 9mm +P 124gr for $0.60/rd delivered. I'm out at that price, but you're all welcome to go in on it. Just PM me for the info.

I'd prefer HSTs.

However if you can work some magic to get the price on those down to .50/rd I'd still take the 6 box

So there was 1 case total available and instead of just buying it to resell to us you asked us basically to front $500 as a group only to miss out after less than 24hrs? That about right? Are you an FFL? What's to say if we all commit to the hold dots it won't happen again? This is no way to run a biz. I don't even care about missing the deal but as a former biz owner these practices are frustrating to see.

Whoa...take a chill pill, IRackNBack. I'm not an FFL nor am I a dealer. I'm a guy who found a good price per round on quality ammo and offered to share it with the WAGuns community. If you find that offensive then you play by some very strange rules. And are you suggesting that I should have fronted complete strangers on $500 of ammo and then coordinated distribution at no gain for myself, without knowing first that I could find a home for the lion's share of it? If that's how you operated, it might explain why you are a "former biz owner". It sounds like you're a little butthurt about missing out on a good deal. I'm bummed, too, but I'm not getting my panties in a wad about it.

I saw nothing wrong with the way this went down. Very often we see a good deal but don't want to / can't front all the funds. By getting other to commit to buy, and even pre-pay it's a win-win for everybody getting onsie twosies at bulk pricing.

Well at least we know now that there is interest in this ammo. Maybe we'll get it next time.
