Mike is a swag bag...new idea of a Mardi Gras costume.

I am occasionally ridiculed for my desire to collect literature of 2A related products that interest me.
By occasionally, I mean every few minutes during SHOT except during sleeping hours.

BTW, I breezed through PDX on the way to Las Vegas, but McCarran was a complete PITA as far as TSA face time went.
The last step was the body scan and X-ray bags section. My bags got held up for a long time... 15 minutes or so? I was annoyed because I was positive that I had been careful about my packing, especially carryons.
After standing there for the 15 minutes and watching 2-3 (they changed out a few times) TSA agents running my carryon bag back and forth, pointing, talking to each other, pointing again, rubbing their chins with a look of concern on their faces, one of them carried the two bags over to the public dissection station and called me over to go through it with him.
"The paperwork was just too thick for us to check it through X-ray."

I had intended to make Friday the swag harvest day and pass it all on like last year...
1- there wasn't as much this year as Dan already said.
2 - Last year I had to dump about 25 pounds at the airport to avoid a $75 overweight base fee, plus a few dollars per pound over 50 pounds.
Sorry fellas, but I was on a budget this year.

This sounds like the "I lost my guns in a boating accident set- up..." :ROFLMAO:

J/k....TSA & airlines are a pain in the ass.....

I dropped my wife at the airport Wednesday...she was flying to SanFran, then outta the country.

She texted me and was all happy because she got " escorted through the TSA checkpoint, and neve had to take off shoes, or anything..... :thumbsup2:

Not sure how that worked, I'll find out later.

Sorry you had to pitch stuff, PMB, thanks for trying :cheers2:

The hassle-factor is always a consideration on trips like this.

Alright naysayer, you and I need to go shooting. I'll bring my curve and once you see the tiny little groups it shoots you might just have to change your tune.

I don't want anything to do with you and your concealed curve, mister, especially when tiny little holes are involved. icon_eek

Now that I'm back home, I'll post up a few more observations.

Here's the Taurus Spectrum, a little carry .380:

It's a small pistol, and obviously rounded off pretty much everywhere. It has a long double action-only trigger pull, which isn't my cup of tea. This gun didn't impress me enough to really catch my interest, but at least it's ten times better than that Curve monstrosity that they debuted last year!

Looks like a Bond villain gun.

I'll just assume that much like heterosexual sex, you're afraid to try it because you might like it

Not only have one, I've had it for years. It carries so nice and shoots so well I just can't bring myself to get rid of it. Even though I get called gay for carrying it. I figure it's a lot like having a pink gun. The guy that gets shot with it probably won't be making fun of it on his death bed.

By "years" I assume you mean two years, since it was introduced at the 2015 SHOT Show.

You don't find that the radius is too small?

In that case you may be slightly less impressed.
