Aaaaand its official. We are going to be doing another group shoot and clean on 5/20/17. This will be at the Medford Pit(Harry Osborn Wilderness), east of Sedro-woolley. We have hosted several and have been very successful. I will bring my smoker and will be smoking up a bunch of meat for a potluck lunch. The pit will be closed just for us involved in the clean up.
The plan is to clean from about 10am, to 1pm, followed by a potluck lunch, and group shoot until dark if you wish. I am working with the DNR as with the last clean up. They will be providing dumpsters, contractor trash bags, and log our volunteer hours.
Pass the word around, we could use all the help we can get. If you could bring a potluck side dish, that would be great, paper plates, napkins, drinks, etc. Dont forget the clean up essentials, gloves, rakes, shovels. Let me know if and what you can bring. I will be there very early, around 0600-0700. Feel free to come anytime, I will be there. In fact, I wouldn't mind a little company/help.
This clean up is now going to done in concert with Bries Skagit Man Bunker, a facebook group we worked with last year for one of these. They should have a decent crowd if last year is any indication. Rumor has it they will even have access to a tractor. I am hoping this will make the clean up really fast, so we can get to eating and shooting. I will still be cooking for the entire group, so side dishes will be needed.
**Lets try and get an accurate headcount by posting IN, if you know you can make the date. Feel free to post up anything you plan to bring to better inform others as well. This makes it much easier on me for cooking, and also anyone else bringing side dishes.**
