‘No Foolin’ Cleanup April 1st Yacolt Burn State Forest

Join WaGuns, Trash No Land, Vancouver, WA Open Carry and WA State Dept of Natural Resources in Yacolt Burn State Forest as we partner to represent responsible shooting on public land!

9 AM to 12 Noon Open to the Public, Family, Kids and Friends. All are welcome!

We’ll begin our Spring Cleanup on Larch Mtn. in the morning and end with a BBQ about Noon, followed by some good old target practice. Sponsored by Vancouver WA Open Carry, Trash No Land, WaGuns and WA State Dept of Natural Resources. DNR will provide trash bags, rubber gloves, day passes for the day, and even accident insurance. Plus you can log the time towards a free annual pass as well. TNL will arrange the logistics with DNR and VWOC will supply the BBQ part. We need volunteers to help with the BBQ part!

Meet at 9 AM, safety meeting with a little talk, cleanup, lunch about 12 noon and begin the fun part! Bring outdoor clothes, gloves and boots. Also, bring a rake, gloves, drinking water and a good spirit for doing good for the sport of recreational shooting!

We're going to make a difference in how our public land is treated!

No Foolin! We’re going to have a ‘Blast’!

A note about Vancouver, WA Open Carry Facebook group...

You will not meet a more dedicated group of straight-up people than VWOC. They are always actively involved in supporting our 2nd A rights and have events quite often. They stood guard in front of Military Recruiting centers for months! Tirelessly! They work hard and take pride in their efforts. A ton of fun to shoot with!

So plan on meeting a great group of fine people at this cleanup!

Oh yes. Kids are always welcome. They are what we're preserving this privilege for! It sure is a lot of fun to see the parents teaching kids about being responsible and learning about guns. Everyone at the cleanup wants to help teach them about their gun!

If anyone does bring their kids, please monitor them at all times and be sure they are well equipped with gloves and appropriate clothing. You never know what they may want to pick up.

Oh, while you're on either page, scroll down to see the results of our last cleanup March 18th in Mt Hood Nat Forest at the 36 pit. Amazing what 20 volunteers got cleaned up! Drone footage too (on the Facebook post; "TARGET SHOOTERS ARRIVED... NO SHOTS FIRED!"
