With all the rain we've been having, what's the likelihood this will still happen Saturday?

As far as I know too much ice, making it dangerous to move and shoot, has been the only cause for cancellation.
We shoot in the rain.

Be there or be square. Lots of fun to be had.

Just a quick reminder to anyone who might want to participate.

Required items are:

Rifle - sling necessary unless you are ok with dropping your rifle in the mud.
Pistol - holster mandatory and cannot be a method that points the gun at yourself or others during any part of the drawing or reholstering process.
Ammunition - last time we used 40 rounds of rifle and 20 rounds of pistol minimum, but you would want to bring more just in case.
Lights weapon mounted or auxiliary. I personally did not have a Light mounted on my pistol so I wore a headlamp and it actually worked fine. The lights are necessary because the event goes into the evening so you could participate in the first round fine without a light. But subsequent rounds will likely require lights for safety reasons.
$20 unless you are a member of RFGC
Magazine - 2 for rifle and 1 for pistol although additional will make your life easier.
Eye and ear protection

Everything else is optional. You can bring plate carriers if you're super high speed, or you can put mags in your back pocket if you don't have gear.

I recommend a dump pouch as well unless you want to drop your mags on the ground.

Shoes that have good traction that you don't mind getting muddy.
A hand held or head light for taping/scoring targets. A headlight is best, particularly for tear down when we finish.
