Range Day should be Range Days.
There wasn't enough time, and now that it is over I have a decent idea about what I'd like to see and how much time to spend at the most interesting booths/bays. Full auto was easy to control with Kriss's products (check out their motto) but full auto on AR? My 3 bursts all rose up, but not bad enough to put the Cessna towing the 50 year Hogue banner in danger. Much. The day started out looking like a complete cluster at The Sands, but the range made me forget all about being jostled about like an unwilling lemming being loaded for a camp. Dan, Steve, Ben, Chris are good company. |

The Maxim9 was all it was hyped to be. It was a great shooter. The one Steve and I shot had a terrible trigger but Bens was great. We will fondle more tomorrow at the actual show.
  The Kriss Vector is now in 10mm (oh Pablo!!!) and was a fun shoot. Recoil was non existent. Pistol/SBR versions are available too.  Of course. Saw the 6.5 guys rocking WaGuns gear and Workman schmooooozing.   The Hudson, well. The crowd kept us from anything decent time wise. They had only a couple working models and I'll be surprised if they lasted the day. Ben felt the trigger and said "nope, not a 1911". More tomorrow from the show.  |
