And if we had to talk to you for half a day, we'd all need the suicide hotline. :cheers2:

In case anyone doesn't remember how we start off the shooting for the day, we do a countdown followed by opening fire on Tannerite. Here's a recap from last year:

Here's what I'm bringing this year. The two 1.25-pounders are for the opening volley (one left side, one right side) and the 1.75-pounder is to PIF at mid-day.

I don't really have anything cool to bring and shoot unless someone wants to try out the Model 1871 Cavalry Mauser (made in 1876). Fires an 11mm Mauser round, kinda rare.

The rest of my stuff are things you will find at most ranges. I have some interesting things, like a K98K and a DSM34 Hitler Youth training rifle but I don't think anyone would be that interested in shooting a 22LR single shot version of a Mauser.

You have a really funny idea of what people won't be interested in. icon_eek

Ok, will bring the Mausers and the DSM34. The Hitler Youth rifle is a fun little gun to shoot, great for kids so if anyone has a youngun with them this is a great gun. I only have 20 rounds of 11mm mauser so the 1871 will be a rare shoot. It is inaccurate as hell but anything that is 141 years old and made right after the Franco Prussian war probably has the right to be a little innacurate.

I'll bring the Walther P-38 (WW2 vintage) as well. I have to carry something.

Not a Surefire, but I have a direct-thread suppressor you can try.

I just arrived st ESC, and the weather is good! No precipitation, just chilly but at least there's no wind so it shouldn't be too bad.

The roads down from Renton were clear except for a little slush on 512. The temp is right around freezing, so be careful; I didn't see any ice, but it's always possible.

Not going to make it. Don't ask. It involves picking up MIL granny. Not sure why I bother wasting money on snow tires for the wife's car. Errrrrrrrrrr

She knows I'm pissed, but she is still guilt abusing me. "if you were an Asian guy you would know the value of family, THAT always comes first" AND "sorry you are just going to have to miss part of the game too"

Fck.
