Another great day!
We had about nine people from the Forest Service plus . . . what . . . maybe a dozen people from WaGuns, including guests? It was enough people that we were able to slam out the cleanup fairly quickly; we did both the lower pit and the FS7013 clearcut in a couple of hours or so, and then we got to shooting!
The weather smiled on us; it was really nice, actually. It rained on me on the way hope, but out in the forest it was warm and pleasant.
A huge thanks to everyone who came out to help! It feels good to leave the shooting areas looking a LOT better than when we arrived, and of course the shooting afterwards is fun too.
We stopped at Charlie's Cafe in Enumclaw for lunch; it's on the left side of the road just as you're coming into town. It's a little Mom-and-Pop type of cafe, only open until 2:00, but I had the best French dip I've ever had, and the other meals at the table were fantastic as well. Curly fries, need I say more?
We saw some breakfast meals go by that looked to die for, too.
A special thanks to all of the regulars who consistently come out to support. You guys rock!
