In case anyone missed it, this is a pretty solid endorsement:

Seriously guys, I've done a tasting that Breck hosted. Super informational, fun, even around complete strangers, and you get to taste some badass Single Malts.

Even if this wasn't for a good cause, it's still a great opportunity to learn about some great Scotch. Add in that this is to benefit Mrs. Doc Nugent, and it's a no-brainer.

Who else is going to join us?!

I just went through and updated my list . . . thanks to everyone who has donated and committed!

I'm kind of excited about this. Should be fun!

Donated even though I am a 'maybe' at this point. Might be back east with my folks.

Folks,

I promise to bring along some really nice whiskies to taste, from all corners of Scotland. I'll bring my "A" game, too, and do a really nice presentation as well.

If its your A game you want to bring, you should type up and hand out all your fancy toasts for idiots like that can't remember anything 5 minutes later.

Same for me. I really hope to make it, but I have a family thing scheduled that I'm trying to get out of. I already told Steve he can drink mine if I'm not there. :cheers2:

You guys are killing me. I can't make it because we have our BBQ that day and I'll be breaking out some of my own whiskey (and Tequila).

I did drop you some money in PP though to help her out.

I'm going to be at the Lemay car show that day. I'm not sure I want to drive my 62 T-bird with 12,500 original miles up there or not once the show is done. It's not the distance, that isn't terrible, I just worry about the traffic and someone nailing the car.

I'll have to really think about this. I would like to go.
