If anybody from down south is headed up, let me know. I have some cleanup signs that need to make it up there.

I'm definitely in.

Still interested in a carpool. Thinking I should bring my truck as I'm bringing a couple of EZ-Ups and a folding table...and guns.

I have room for up to 4 other people in my crew-cab F150.

I have never been there before and am worried I might not be able to find it. I live in Covington.

I would have you follow me but i have to to Orting to pickup my son first. If i can get him to my house Friday, i will let you know and we can caravan there.
It's pretty easy to find though.
Go to Enumclaw.
Take 410 East and continue past Greenwater.
Watch for the Firestation on your left and then about a mile past that turn left on FS 70
A few miles up that road just past a hard right turn the big pit will be on your right.
You are there. :thumbsup2:

We're going to meet at the forest clearing and clean there first. But if you prefer to clean the pit first more power to ya.

Good thing you clarified that....somewhat.
So Breck, then it would only be a mile or so down FS 70 and 7013 angles to the right. Just after the first "clearcut" hillside on the right.

Good show folks! Wish I could be at this one.

It's important we work with Forest Service agencies to help protect recreational shooting on public land. It has both short term and long term benefits. Thanks for joining in and taking the initiative to preserve and better our kind of recreation.

Looking forward to seeing the results. Take lots of pics!

Have fun out there!

Bill

Just a little. I organize cleanups for Northwest Firearms and after 3 years of doing that, I took another step, to help improve target shooting, by developing the Trash No Land web site and Facebook page.

I've heard some good things about WaGuns through some members down here in Clark County so I finally got around to signing up.

Hope to post around and become more familiar with this site.

Thanks for the cleanup work. I hope more members join in. You really do have a lot of fun, come away with a good feeling and a sense of ownership for the place you cleaned up.

Later,

Bill

Is there a Facebook event on this cleanup? I haven't seen it on WaGuns FB feed. I'd like to share it on the TNL FB page. If not, may I do a story on it using the above picture or last years pics? Or, shall I wait till it's done? (I like to highlight any efforts that gun owners do to promote responsible shooting on public land, no matter if it's Washington, Oregon or Arizona. The idea is to reach all recreational shooters).

If not on the FB TNL page, I certainly will do a final report on the web site in the 'Events' page.
