Is this going to be a clean-and-shoot, or just a shoot?

I will get a hold of my DNR contact today to see if anything has changed and post up the details. Also, if anyone has strong google fu, a map or gps to the pit woild be handy. I'll update the OP with turn by turn directions.

I think I'm in, as long as work doesn't send me out of town. This will be 1st time to Medford but have been to a couple south of there. Sounds like fun.

**IMPORTANT** Just a heads up guys, they're really cracking down on discovery pass tickets this year. If you're coming up for the shoot make sure you have a current discovery pass in your rig. If you have a disabled tag, or plates, you park free wherever discovery pass is required.

Yes, parking in the pit is possible. They closed down one small pit, so plenty pf spots to park and walk down into, or catch a ride. Talking with DNR, there was a clean up a while ago, but said they'd be happy tp supply bags and everything if we were to pile it up they will come grab it. They aren't able to do a dumspter currently. ***** Also, something to think about guys, if we do "clean up", they log our volunteer hours, which helps keep these places open. Not to mention, we are volunteers then, and get temporary Discovery Day passes from them. So no need to go buy one if you dont have one!*****
