I attended one down at Renton several months ago and it was awesome.

With the upcoming legislation concerning Hearing Protection and suppressors, I figured maybe it would be a good idea to get these legislatures out to the range to actually shoot a gun with a suppressor. Anything think they'd attend?

That's federal legislation . . . or is there a state bill that I'm not aware of?

I like the idea, though.

The only suppressor shoots I'm aware of are the annual Renton shoot you mention. Ranb used to host one at Kitsap Rifle and Revolver until the Kitsap County anti gun jihadis finally managed to shut down that range.

So I think RFG&C is the only game in town for an organized shoot in WA.

In consolation I offer the upcoming West Coast machine gun shoot at Albany Rifle and Pistol in Albany, OR. Throughout the day they have a repeating segment called 'Quiet Time' where only suppressed firearms are allowed on the line. Plus you can shoot full auto to your hearts content in a staggering variety of firearms. Well worth the drive time. This year's shoot is on May 21st/22nd.

Can we put on our own, where everybody can bring their own suppressed weapons? And we don't have silly rules?

Sure!

Just gotta find a spot . . . and obviously if you don't completely reserve a range, you may have unsuppressed guns firing right next to you.

If you really want to show them what we're about...

How about a supressed clean-n-shoot? :thumbsup2:

I couldn't imagine any legislators coming out but, we could make a big deal of it... Quality film production and all thumbsup
Safety and Civility + Environmental Stewardship + the kind of generousity and fellowship that always shows up at WaGuns events... :wagwoot:
And food! Don't forget the food!

Okay, maybe we don't have enough supressors among us but, with a couple well timed "cold range" sessions, and the patience of Wagunners, we could clearly demonstrate the difference it makes! :hangloose:

Lots of daylight left this year, if we start planning now!
:cheers2:
