Went out for a little while with a buddy and one of my daughters. Was fun, but we got wet, and when the wind started picking up, we headed out. I got some cool slow-motion video of my T53 Mosin out in the rain. :) Fireball, even in mid day haha.

Nice! I assume the pit wasn't all that crowded with the incoming weather? And.. post that vid!

There were two small groups when we got there, but we were the last die hard folks left when we finally called it a day.

Nice, I'm glad you got out there. Thanks for setting this up; we need more group events.

I was actually pretty close to coming, but was finally scared off by the weather. Let's do it again sometime though . . . maybe in conjunction with the 2nd Sunday breakfasts?

Works for me. I don't get out to shoot as often as I should, so any excuse to get out more often is good with me.

Not like you don't have anything going on with the new house. I have promised myself I will get out more often. I will be pestering you.

Sounds good :) After I get the patio cover built, the floor in the family room and the drywall in the entryway and living room done, I will have a little more time haha. Of course, about the time I get all that done, it will be time to start the fence or shed.

2nd Sunday, breakfast 9 am, then convoy to go shoot. Sounds like a winning idea. :thumbsup2:
