There seems to be some interest from the "fear" thread. So I thought I would make an "event" out of it. So who would be "in"? Maybe if we have enough people we could get a discount? To give people time to get ready emotionaly, and financially I'm thinking August 14th. http://www.skydivekapowsin.com/ $185 weekdays for tandem jump. Skydive from 13,000 feet! Fifteen-minute plane ride in our Super Otter (up to 22 other jumpers) 60 seconds of freefall Pre-jump training Cool Jumpsuit, goggles and all equipment included First Jump Certificate Discounts for future jumps!

I didn't "hell No!" because of anything in the offer.
I've done my share of jumping out of planes. Got a set of wings to prove it. With my string of luck over the last 5 years....I just don't like tempting fate any more than I need to.

I thought the poll was do I want to watch you sky dive.. so I voted yes..
If I'm jumping... it's a no..
If you just want to come out, and watch me that's fine. I'm on the accelerated free fall program. Eventually I will land fully upright! Either way I walk back to the hanger on my own.

Civilian jumping is SO MUCH DIFFERENT! I hate AR's because of the Army, but when you shoot, or skydive outside of the military setting it is SO DIFFERENT!

No...I get that there is a difference. What I am saying is that I'm not sure that I have enough Karma points to keep the Fates from saying, "Well, your time is up, and...Oh Look you gave Us a perfectly good way to snip your life thread."

Here is a pic of my Dad jumping tandom over the Palm Island in Dubai last winter.
He has a few hundred jumps under him, but he needed 500 to jump solo.
??? "To get a USPA A license it skydive takes a minimum 25 jumps, plus several technical requirements, and demonstration of specific skydiving skills. It does cost money, and your best bet is to discuss options with your Skydiving Instructor. We have lots of information to help you!"
