I'll be up for shoots out at the North Fork Gravel Pit anytime. Let's do some quick draw competitions out there. PM me and lets set something up. The pit is open for business!

Where is this at?

Always on the lookout for a good spot in whatcom since I have a couple Canadian friends who like to come down and go shooting.

Take the Sunset exit and head east like you're going up to Mt. Baker.
Turn right onto Mosquito Lake Rd (little bit past the Nooksack Casino).
Turn left onto N Fork Road (first left after the bridge).

Follow this road up until it turns into a dirt/gravel road. Stay left when the road forks.
It's DNR land (seems to be enforced especially on nice weekends) so bring a discover pass.

^The locals would prefer that you not post directions publicly. It doesn't need publicity. thanks.

The place was empty yesterday morning. I need to amend my original post after going down in there. It is junky, we should organize a cleanup day. I haven't the foggiest idea how to get up all the spent shotgun shells though, they're literally everywhere! There's also a fair bit of shot up junk and old wood which should be cleaned up. Poor poor Mr. Osama, better luck next time!

Bring a rake and maybe some small chicken wire or fencing.
Rake onto the wire. Pick Wire sheet up, Sift dirt and small rocks out. Dump shotgun shells and other junk into a barrel.
Would be glad to help but you are too far north.
Go ahead and set up a clean up day for later this year. Do like the others did and get the DNR to help! I would check the cleanup that is planned in a little over a week from now. They know how to get the coordination done!

Just found it two weeks ago. I always took the right turn too early on the road. This place is new to me.
Don't make me text you more dead rodent photos. :angryfire:
