Lets Organize an M1A Shoot!

I'm just trying to put some 'feelers" out there to see if we have any M1A Fans/Shooters here.

If so I'd like to organize a M1A shoot at some point.

Let me know if this sounds like a good idea to anyone. :snipersmilie:

Anyone can shoot my rifle just bring some decent 308 ammo to burn up.

How about meeting up at a CMP match?

http://www.rfgc.org/matches/cmp.php

Quote:
Matches are generally held the fourth Saturdays of the month from March through July. Start time is 8:45 AM and matches usually last about 3 hours. The course of fire is 88 rounds at 100 yards.

My rifle has optics on it and is setup up with aftermarket parts so I couldn't use it there I guess.

Yeah! bhpdrew has a nice M1A also! thumbsup

You don't have to shoot the match.

You can shoot during and after... :rockout:

Well, you guys know I have an M1A. It would be nice to get together with some of the "Hi-Power" fans.

Agreed, I'd like to see how other guys have their M1A's setup and the accuracy etc..

My M1A can reach out to 800+ yards, but I think 200-300 is far enough for me.

If I want to hit something 1000 yards away, I'll use a .300 Win Mag or something.
