Mark your calendars and come lend a hand! WaGuns has partnered up with Trash No Land and the Washington Armed Forces Initiative to help DNR get the Triangle Pit @ Capitol Forest Cleaned up!

We would love to have WaGuns REPRESENT here. If you can make it, please reply below!

In the afternoon AFI members, that participated in the clean-up, will stroll along the gated roads of Capitol State Forest in search of Washington’s various grouse species, affectionately known as “Wood Chicken”. God forbid I don't have something happen or do something stupid before then I'll be there. :wagwoot:
My daughter is due the 16th with #3 grand baby so that might be the only thing to take me away from this function.

Yeah, Baby, I'm there!

Thanks for hosting this, Steve and Dan! The Armed Forces Initiative, active military members, and the BHA group are a great bunch of guys/gals! We'll have a great time!

I'm buying lunch! We got lots of free raffle prizes to win! Group shoot after lunch (since we'll have the pit closed during cleanup, we'll be able to set up and shoot before others. Then we can establish group rules when others show up and monitor for safe shooting).

I'm planning to camp at the DNR Middle Waddell Campground, across the road, on Friday night. Anyone care to join me?

See you all there!

Bill

I will be there!

Let's get out there, folks! As a group, we can make quick work of that pit. I know, we've done it before. :thumbsup2:

The more volunteers we have, the stronger the message we send to DNR. Just like the trail clubs, we want good places to shoot!

Damn, I'll have to miss this one. I remember pretty much filling my 16' box trailer at one of our cleanups at that pit a handful of years ago!
Hope there is a good showing.

Unfortunately they picked the worst possible day to do it. 14th is Opening day for rifle deer season. I’ll be out hunting.

And the funny part is, The Backcountry Hunters & Anglers picked that date! Don't know why either.
