I was at the fold up table on the rifle line next to the blue tarp. Shooting a couple of AR's and Mosins. I don't think we met.

Wish I would have known that was you. Hope you guys enjoyed the pit. Thanks for making the trek up to Canada to help out.

Yeah I got there late so I didn't really clean. I did pick up the last few garbage bags that were out in the pit though as well as deal with the food that was left. Awesome times and good to see all of you. Who was the Facebook group that was there?

DONE! IN!!! That flavor you made with that fish sauce was amazing. You should just start telling everyone that the recipe has been handed down for generations. lol. Great meeting you buddy!

Easy to miss introductions with that many people present, it definitely takes a couple of meets to sort everybody out. We were happy to make the trip up, and we'll be sure to get back up there again sometime soon. Lots of great camping/hiking/exploring up in that area, and when 20 opens we're going to be making a trip over the pass for some backpacking. Meanwhile, it was great waking up to this today:

Try Lionhrts house. That fucker can smoke. Conveniently enough, he is less than 2 miles from the pit we shot in today! Thanks for the compliment Kyle but I wouldn`t say mine is better. I was pissed I couldn`t get off work to bring a few of my smokers up there and meet everone. the worse part is I was going to come up after work but but shit happened at work and I had to get up at midnight to get an early start at work the next day and as I got home and had to head straight to bed I could hear some of you fuckers shooting I was pissed.

Gawd-DAMN that was a big turnout! Wish I could have made it, but alas, it was not to be. Jaeger, that smoker looks amazing.

With these sized turnouts we should only have to do the clean ups about once a year. Many hands make for light work. This clean up/shoot is a perfect example.

Hey, I just joined so I missed this. I'm a new gun owner looking for places to shoot and responsible people to shoot with. I'd like to join a club but not working right now so gas and some ammo is all I can afford. Will there be another shoot/clean sometime soon? I want to find out all I can about safety and etiquette in shooting on state lands. I live right near Tahuya but very reticent to go out there by myself, if ya know what I mean.

Welcome Samurai! You are in a cool area. Not sure if there are shooting places over there. I know there are some above Dosewallips, maybe a bit south of there.

We have Tahuya State Forest but so many people abuse it that there are not too many places to shoot. I'm really interested in the Capitol Forest area...a bit farther to go but I'm wary of going out to Tahuya without someone who really knows the area.
