It would prevent anyone from trying to shoot even 30ft. since you can not get a longer shot that would prevent someone or something from getting shot down on the lower pit. I thought so i was just making sure. From what she told us at the meeting she would be putting a fence around the whole area and if someone is caught shooting in there the new leo will be handing out fines. Now if the fence does not work for some reason then yes i'd agree dumping a bunch of crap in the pit would work. I think a huge load of blackberry bushes in there would prevent people from entering

Any of you have any easy ideas on how to pick up all the shot wads. I was at the lower pit sunday 5-1-16 and it's just filled with them. I'm thinking maybe some sort of portable vacuum. Also when i got there; there was an bashed up abandon truck sideways blocking most of the parking spots. my co worker had his diesel truck there and we turned the truck around straight. Was told by Forest LEO that AAA came and got it later that afternoon.

Here is the link to the oct cleanup. The pics are at the last few pages of the thread http://waguns.org/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=59912

I think the land has too many stumps and roots for it to work and I'm not sure if will open wide enough to pass wads and shells. Next time I'm at the store I'll take a closer look to see if it will work.
