Hey Dave, I put in a call to the Independence Institute where Dave Kopel is the guy who represented the 50+ sheriffs in the CO magazine ban lawsuit in the 10th Circuit. I asked them if they'd get back to me if they knew of any actions after the 3 judge panel decision to send it back to trial court, I was curious if there was a motion for either side for a larger panel hearing or full en banc hearing and if maybe Gorsuch had voted for or against it. However, I'm not sure if/when Kopel will ever get back to me as I'm not a reporter. Given your connections as a prominent gun journalist you may want to follow that lead up, it might be interesting since Gorsuch's record on 2A is so shallow. |
