DOES THIS SURPRISE ANYBODY????

Seattle Council Candidate Grant Wants to Double ‘Gun Violence Tax’

One of the candidates running to fill the Seattle City Council seat being vacated by Tim Burgess, who pushed through the city’s “gun violence tax,” is proposing to double that tax to raise revenue not realized during the first year it was assessed, a move predicted by Washington state’s leading gun rights advocate.

they aren't thinking big enough. They should raise the tax to $1,000 per gun. Think how much money they could raise!!!!

He's a 'community organizer', not a businessman.
Guessed it before I looked him up.

Why not just charge a 1,000% tax, it will raise even more money. [/sarcasm]

(Guess I'm not the only one who thought that. Hahaha)

Don't ever lose sight of the fact that a "community organizer" managed to get into the Oval Office and really screw things up.

That definitely solves the problem. Case closed, no other cities will follow Seattles path lol.

I paid +$25 on that hippie tax just to support the business of the last post of Seattle gun shop resistance: Outdoor Emporium.

I know I know, the I-90 starts around the corner and in 2 minutes you're in factoria with 3 shops to get a shotgun.

Oh yeah. I'm sure all cities will follow, especially Puyallup, Kent, Auburn, Mt Vernon, Ellensburg, Wenatchee, Spokane, Yakima, Aberdeen, Shelton, Pt Angeles, Mukilteo, Silverdale, Vancouver, Chehalis, Walla Walla and Everett.

NO they won't. Seattle is its own political system.
