Another newspaper turns against law enforcement on gun initiative

The Kitsap Sun today joins a lineup of Washington State newspapers whose editorial boards have sided against a growing number of county sheriffs, thousands of law enforcement professionals and legions of law-abiding citizens by supporting Initiative 594, which another newspaper, the Longview Daily News, is recommending be rejected.

Too bad I can't read the Sun article due to a paywall. Used to read the Sun online all the time when I lived in Kitsap, before the paywall went up on their site. KS has always been very anti-2A. They recommended every federal gun control bill that came along after Sandy Hook.

When push comes to shove and they decide to pick these guns up I think the Sheriffs departments should deputize the media and send them out to pick up the guns. :AR15firing:

I-594 campaign recruits Montana anti-gun Moms, says sheriffs ‘spread lies’

Members of the Montana Chapter of Moms Demand Action are being recruited for a telephone blitz of Washington voters this evening to promote Initiative 594 on the heels of an e-mail yesterday from the Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility (WAGR) that alleges the “gun lobby” has “so much power that they've gotten your sheriff to spread their lies about Initiative 594 to voters.”
