Pinto's gun shop in Renton

Thu May 28, 2020 9:43 am

Does anyone know if Pintos will ship an AR15 rifle to a Portland FFL? And if so, what they charge?

I tried calling them, but they are closed on Thrusdays.

Lastly, when you take a rifle to the shop for shipping, is it up to me to pack? Or do I hand them over the packing material first to have them pack it for me? Asking as I'm sure they need to confirm the serial numbers. Thank you in advance.

Oh and another thing
Pintos May be a great shop to buy firearms. But certainly not my first choice for doing transfers.
And I feel if you bring in your firearm to ship. They may treat it like a transfer.

He can, but some FFL's require it to be shipped from an FFL from the origin. Yes, Pinto's would not be my first choice for that, see their webpage concerning transfer's and such.
If the receiving FFL requires that it comes from one, i would use Pantels.

You can ship it yourself via USPS, you just need to have a copy of the receiving dealers FFL to give to the Post office. I recommend the PO on 116th by Pantels, they know the drill there.
