WaGuns has installed the popular Tapatalk forum software to help make your browsing, posting and PM'ing on the go a lot easier.

Works great with iPhones, iPads, BlackBerry, Nokia PDA, Droid etc. Just download & install the Tapatalk app from your App Store / Market / BB. Search for WaGuns.org in the app and sign on in!!

Also, in July 2012, we installed a mobile website version of WaGuns.org. No cost involved. Just surf to WaGuns.org on a mobile device and it should automatically put you into the mobile version. If you want to see the full site, scroll to the bottom of the mobile site and click on "Full Version".

Yeah, it's not the same as using a computer, but actually it's pretty easy to see when using Tapatalk ... which is what I'm doing right now!

I'm not. I refuse to pay for a forum browser. Dan added a modification that allows easier mobile viewing.

Originally this site was Tapatalk enabled. I use it for some of the other forums I am a part of too. BadKarma mentioned to me a week ago that he doesn't use tapatalk, and he is very "mobile smart". He wished there was a mobile version. I was pretty surprised when I looked at the sites analytics and saw that it was about a 50/50 mix of WaGunners who used tapatalk vs. phones browser.

To me, this wasn't acceptable, as the site doesn't read / navigate well on small mobiles... So, we implemented a free mobile option. The main things that the mobile option is missing is the community chat, ability to post smilies and the ability to work with feedback. I am currently trying to get feedback and chat working.

So, Tapatalk is still enabled, it still works well too. But the mobile style is nice....

I had been using Tapatalk, which I like and I think is worth the money, but the new mobile WaGuns site is MUCH better than Tapatalk, in my opinion.

I'm cheap and refuse to pay for things that should be free. I never tried tapatalk, and never had much of an issue with my phones mobile browser. I like this new setup fine. The only thing I liked better in standard mode is that the unread posts list would update when I backed into the unread post list after viewing a tjread... Meanimg the post i was just in didnt show in the list. The mobile site doesnt do this, and to get to the same list, I have to hit the magnifying glass, then select unread posts.

If you know the smile code you can still use em.. :bigsmile:
