| Post subject: | Avatar Acceptability Guidelines |
We encourage all members to upload a custom avatar. Avatars can be fun, informative and interesting, and they can be an important part of your online identity here at WaGuns. Please recognize, however, that your avatar will be visible on-screen every time that another user reads one of your posts. Because we want WaGuns to be a site that can be read not only in your private office but also in the workplace, in the living room with your family, and in a public setting such as a coffee shop, we request that you adhere to the following guidelines when selecting an avatar: 1) No sexual-related content. This includes not only nudity but also partial nudity or sexually-suggestive poses, etc. Please, no bikinis, chest shots, butt shots, animated gifs that are sexual in nature, etc. 2) No pictures of realistic violence or gore. 3) No profanity. 4) In a nutshell . . . nothing that would make another member uncomfortable if his/her boss, spouse or mother were reading over his/her shoulder! If in doubt, just PM a moderator or administrator with a link to the photo you would like to use for review. Thank you. |
