After much delay I got the rifle out to shoot. A couple weeks ago I had it out, bore sighted at 50yds....doesn't line up. Hmmm well I'll shoot. It's high and right. A good 7" both ways. OK. Maybe I messed up the scope mounting. Came up and checked my work, one loose ring screw and checked for level again and again. Decided to remount everything. The receiver is old and doesn't have a consistent level place and its eyeballs and checking level in a few places. Crosshairs level and I'm out shooting yesterday.
Wouldn't you know it...still high and right. [emoji19] I talked to the rangemaster and he suggested shimming in the rings with cut soda cans or cut milk jug. I have precision machined steel shim stock on hand.
Thoughts?

Sounds like the scope mount holes in the receiver aren't in line, or it's an issue with the mount itself.
