I have an excess of plastic/Delrin blocks of varied dimensions. They machine easily. Can be used to make bushings and fixtures. I can give a some of them as well. |

Does it come with tooling or anything? I looked at the post and was asking myself, "What made this a $3,000 mill drill?" I bought a Grizzly mill drill earlier this year and spent less than $2,000 with some tooling, a stand, and other accessories including tax. |

I based my price purely off Grizzly and few other web sights selling price. Please educate me. I honestly have no idea. From my perspective the value of the unused mill it self ranges from 25 to 2700 and the stand its sitting on 4 to 500 dollar stand. In turn I figure post it for 2k in hopes I can get an offer of around 15 to 1700. Does this machinery truly depreciate that much when it leaves the manufacturer? There are comparable setups with noticeable use selling for next to full value on ebay. Like I said please educate me. |

I'm trying to get educated as well. I'm not questioning your price. I was asking the same and similar questions when I was shopping and buying, and I'm till not sure if I over spent or under spent on the machine. |

Typically machinery holds its value. Lathes and mills dont depreciate much until its worn out. I have a 70 year old lathe that is still worth half of what a new one would cost. But its tight and taken care of. Once a machine is worn, its worth its weight in scrap. 2k for a 2700 dollar machine is not bad at all. The only thing it has going against it is the fact that its an imported machine. You have it priced fair. 1500 would be a steal. I wish i was in the market for one, i would be on the way to your house. American made machines cost a premium, but are not as common as the old South bend lathes and Bridgeport mills. Everyone has gone to cnc machines, so a brand new manual machine Doesnt make as much sense for a shop. It has its place, but wont get used much. |
